Description

I made this toon for P.O.D.'s chunky number: 'Dreaming Awake' because the original clip has no apparent link to the meaning of the lyrics and was directed purely to fit with the Matrix Reloaded visual style. I figured the kings' dreams would make great material for a cartoon, because they're so bizarre: a tree engulfing the entire world, a rock smashing a statue and becoming a mountain (and engulfing the world) and the king turning into an animal (after being mistaken for a tree and cut down at the stump).

Disclaimer: there is no subtext here to do with the current political situation in Iraq- or in Palestine, for that matter.

If you want to know what on earth's going on, its from chapters 1 to 6 of the book of Daniel.
I started this 2 years ago, so I hope it doesn't look rushed at the end. Enjoy!
